‘Drop it likes its HOT’

Rooftop Summer Club is all about forgetting your responsibilities, being spontaneous and getting involved. Whether it’s extra-curricular, or just an afternoon skive/‘meeting’ which requires sun, slushies and a hot smokin’ BBQ, Rooftop Summer Club caters for all your seasonal needs in the city.

In collaboration with design collective Gang of Six, Rooftop Summer Club hosts a bespoke summer long installation ‘Whirl-oscope’. The carousel-like pavilion houses tethered swing seats and rotates 360° amongst views of the city. The Whirl-oscope will act as a hub for our programme of summer club workshops and activities, and no doubt be an exciting ride for the rest of us!


Just like the summer holiday clubs your parents used to drop you off at, our Rooftop Summer Club will be filled with workshops and activities to keep your mind and hands busy. Get involved in tie-dying with Tie Dye High Five, a ridiculous yet utterly serious Tape Measure Challenge hosted by The House of Hot Breath, super/collider monthly Pop-up Astronomy club, Sesame’s Origami, Saturday morning holistic sessions with Fat Buddha Yoga, urban knitting with Wool & The Gang, crafternoons of pimping your sunnies/scrunchies/headbands with Use It Up Wear It Out and much more…


Remember our Headphone Holiday silents discos last year with Jazzie B and Norman Jay? Expect more of the same this year, as we collaborate with exciting collectives on rooftop parties - keep an eye on social media for exciting DJ line up announcements.


We’ll keep you fed and watered with our daily BBQ menu to include what has been a real hit the last couple of years, the classic Aberdeen Angus Burger. Plus delicious marinated haloumi or chicken skewers and blackened chilli, ginger and lime salmon fillets should get those taste buds going! To wash it all down, we'll be serving freshly made Ginger Beer and Pineapple-Aid to spike with your favourite spirit as well as refreshing cocktail slushies!

Welcome to ‘Woodlandia’. From the end of October, Queen of Hoxton’s rooftop sees the WigWamBam return, nestled under the stars, surrounded by views of the East End. Entering via the venue, step through a veil of green pine and discover a hidden solace inspired by Britain’s wintery woodlands and the wild outdoors.

Inside the candle-lit WigWamBam, cosy up on moss-covered tree stumps around an oversized barbecue grill and listen to the faint sounds of the woodland. Or step outside to the bar, beneath overgrown twisted vines, and you’ll find a menu of specially-created cocktails and drinks....

This season, Woodlandia WigWamBam will host ‘Drink & Do’ workshop events that include origami workshops starting on 11th November (National Origami Day) and ‘Republic of Somerset’ a traditional cider tasting with a specially curated BBQ menu hosted by The Cider Box on 15th November. We’ve also teamed up with the ever-popular Cocktail Gardener to host a cocktail master class in January, teaching you how to use herbs and flowers to infuse, garnish and flavour cocktails.
